Stories:
Catherine's husband, William Pollock died of pneumonia late in 1899 leaving Catherine with 3 young children. In 1910 the family sailed on the Hesperian, landing at Quebec on May 23; their final destination being Vancouver. She was living there with her daughter Kathleen but still out of work at the time of the 1911 census. Her son Alex was staying with his aunts Christina and Effie a short distance away.
