Stories

Indictment dated 27th June 1892 Dunbarton and 7 July 1892 Glasgow for Sheep Stealing, including 6 sheep from his father and 41 sheep from his father in law. (have documents from NAS)

Handwritten note on Indictment indicates that Donald McCosham failed to appear on the 27th of June so the diet was rescheduled for 7th of July 1892 where it was learned that he had died 3 June 1892 at Willard Parker Hospital, New York. His wife Isabella was to have died on the voyage to America.
